Opening Date: Soft Opening – Friday, January 16th
Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM
BOH Shifts May Start As Early As: 6:00 AM
Compensation: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour (based on experience)
Positions Available: Full-time and Part-time

About the Role

Duckie's Woodfire Bagels is seeking dependable and motivated Back of House team members to join our opening kitchen team. This role is ideal for cooks and bakers who take pride in quality, cleanliness, and teamwork. You'll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items to spec while helping establish strong kitchen systems from day one.

We are looking for individuals with baking experience, as well as those comfortable working the hot line, including flat top and fryers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and cook menu items to Duckie's quality standards
• Memorize menu items, recipes, and prep specifications
• Cook and prep food accurately according to established recipes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with daily prep, breakdown, and overall kitchen cleanliness
• Collaborate with BOH teammates to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Communicate clearly with FOH staff to fulfill guest orders accurately

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong team-first mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Understanding the importance of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Culinary experience strongly preferred but not required
• Baking experience and/or hotline experience (flat top and fryers) is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

Schedule & Expectations

• Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts available
• Expected hours: 15–35 hours per week
• In-person position
