About
Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications. Initially focusing on Gyro sub-assemblies, Rotators and Rotator sub-assemblies. Completion of parts through machining and painting operations.
This position is required to conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Pine Electronics. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to the policies, regulations, and procedures of Pine Electronics.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and sub-assemblies.
- Assemble mechanical parts.
- Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment according to engineering specification changes.
**OTHER DUTIES**
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Operation of hand tools, power tools, general shop equipment, saws, and polishers.
- Support painting operations (parts preparation and painting).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Operate forklift as needed for material movement.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING**
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Proven mechanical assembly experience and aptitude is required.
- Efficiently utilize hand held tools such as: drills, miscellaneous screwdrivers, wrenches, pneumatic tools, and multi-meter.
- Familiarity with machining centers (preferred).
- Use of precise measurement tools: calipers, micrometers.
- Familiarity with paint booth operations.
- Capable to operate other equipment such as: overhead crane and pallet jack.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a Tablet.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
**WORK-RELATED KNOWLEDGE**
- Knowledge of hand tools, workplace safety.
- Knowledge of assembly processes and basic engineering of machines.
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting prints with an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Standards (GD&T).
- Knowledge of manufacturing Quality Management (QMS) / ISO 9000 standard.
