Position Summary:

A rapidly growing construction services company is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Woburn, MA office. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to launch their career and gain hands-on experience in both estimating and project management. The role offers extensive training, professional development, and exposure to a wide range of construction disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plans and specifications to support bidding activities
  • Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff
  • Assist with bid preparation in accordance with established estimating procedures
  • Participate in scope review meetings to gain experience representing the company
  • Develop understanding of labor, material, and equipment costs at local and state levels
  • Support the preparation of written estimates and proposals
  • Participate in training programs focused on project management, estimating, cost control, and field operations
  • Visit active job sites to learn field methods and construction systems
  • Gain knowledge of building codes, product lines, and company marketing practices
  • Assist Business Development with marketing and closings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
