We are seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary professional to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality food service within a healthcare or hospitality setting, ensuring patient or guest satisfaction through excellent meal preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, menu planning, and culinary techniques, with a focus on safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
• Assist with menu planning to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences
• Handle food safely, following all hygiene and sanitation protocols
• Cook and assemble dishes with precision, utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils
• Support catering services for special events or functions
• Ensure proper food storage and inventory management
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences
• Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold standards of fine dining or institutional settings

Experience

• Prior experience in dietary departments, food service, or culinary roles preferred
• Experience with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Background in fine dining, restaurant service, or catering is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Skills in meal preparation, food handling, and serving in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and knife skills necessary for efficient food prep
• Previous roles in the food industry or culinary settings will be highly regarded
