Schedule: Monday - Friday/9 am - 5 pm
We are looking to hire a Supervising Pharmacist for its Brooklyn, NY 11224 location. We are working as part of a coordinated care team partnered with community-based health centers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients with complex health conditions get the medications they need in a timely fashion and can follow their treatment plans.
We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist to support and manage all functions of daily pharmacy operations, treat the business as their own and contribute to its growth.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
- Verify preparation/labeling and Quality Assurance of medications dispensed
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and healthcare professionals
- Help maintain a clean & organized work environment
- Take and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy software system
- Ensure an effective and efficient workflow throughout the pharmacy
- Patient Counseling
- Comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and Monitoring for Specialty Drugs and the Advanced Disease States
- Implement, manage, and maintain set expectations of targeted pharmacy KPIs with C-Suite executives
- Complies with ALL state and federal laws
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of Pharmacy Management / PIC experience
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a Retail Pharmacist
- Minimum 2+ years of Micro-Merchant experience
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
- Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of New York
- Not on the DEA, OIG, GSA Excluded Parties List
- No prior or pending felony charges/convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
