About
Our Indianapolis, Indiana facility is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our efficient operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and meticulously packed for shipment. You'll work with a variety of products, handling them with care and attention to detail. This position is vital to our logistics network, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritizes workplace safety . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify that packed items match the order details.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Operate packing equipment and hand tools as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- A strong focus on workplace safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
