About
Join our growing logistics team as an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders in our state-of-the-art warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise order fulfillment. You will work closely with advanced inventory systems and must have a keen eye for detail. Safety is paramount, and all team members are expected to follow strict protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and track orders.
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding areas.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular checks.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret pick lists and identify products accurately.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended shifts.
- Capacity for Lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of general warehouse logistics and best practices.
- A strong commitment to maintaining a Safe working environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctuality and a dependable work ethic.
