We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment and inventory management. You will contribute to a seamless logistics process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position requires an individual who is motivated, organized, and committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety. Your work directly impacts our operational success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
- Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet performance targets.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Awareness of and commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience with logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
- Comfortable with physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
