Join our vibrant New York City warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for motivated individuals to assist in various warehouse functions, contributing to the efficient flow of our **logistics** operations. Your duties will include receiving and processing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A strong emphasis is placed on **safety** and teamwork. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Compliance with all **safety** regulations and the appropriate use of **PPE** is required. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory within designated warehouse areas.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, clutter-free, and organized.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic **logistics** principles and warehouse **safety**.
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear required **PPE**, including steel-toed footwear and vests.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
