We are hiring a diligent Warehouse Worker for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is vital to our daily operations, involving a range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to picking and packing orders. You will contribute to the efficiency of our logistics and supply chain by ensuring that products are handled correctly and that the warehouse is maintained in a safe and orderly condition. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and accurately put away incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
- Utilize appropriate PPE when handling specific materials or operating equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform consistent physical labor, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
