Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper working condition and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to strict safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, with valid certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts.
