Join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas, as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick products for customer orders. This role is fundamental to our success in fulfilling orders and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will navigate our warehouse, utilizing scanning equipment to locate and retrieve items according to order specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good spatial awareness, and works well independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety and productivity is essential. This position involves a significant amount of walking, standing, and frequent lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is required. We place a high emphasis on a secure and safe working environment, mandating the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently and systematically.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity for frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing/walking.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Commitment to safety and the correct usage of PPE.
