Job Summary:
Join our energetic team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Forklift Operator. We are seeking a motivated individual to operate forklifts and perform essential material handling tasks within our warehouse. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in our logistics operations. You will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials safely and accurately. A strong commitment to safety, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to proper lifting techniques, is paramount. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and possesses a solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move, stage, and transport materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
  • Place inventory in designated locations and ensure proper stacking.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Utilize correct lifting techniques and seek assistance for heavy items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Support overall logistics efficiency and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in inventory counts as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid forklift certification required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Demonstrated dedication to safety, including correct PPE usage and safe lifting methods.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
