We are seeking dedicated and reliable Material Handlers to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to perform tasks involving frequent lifting , and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your contribution is vital to our overall supply chain operations and the satisfaction of our customers. We pride ourselves on a safe and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verifying inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Operating material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and potential issues.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE , such as safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
