What We're Looking For In You
  • A current student pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Curious, analytical, and eager to learn how cybersecurity tools, processes, and best practices work
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work confidentially and collaboratively in a technical environment
Your Role as a Information Security Intern

This internship will focus on supporting the Information Security team with monitoring, documentation, and security operations while learning the fundamentals of enterprise cybersecurity.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with monitoring alerts from security tools (e.g., endpoint protection, email filtering, SIEM platforms) and documenting findings
  • Support basic security reviews of devices, applications, or accounts to help ensure compliance with policies
  • Help maintain security documentation, including configurations, procedures, and asset records
  • Participate in routine security tasks such as updating policies, reviewing logs, and checking system health
  • Assist with user security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and training content
  • Observe and support infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server improvements, or device deployments
  • Observe and support the team during incident response activities, including documenting steps and lessons learned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergrad Junior status or above
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Ability to work within the hours of Monday through Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Hours will vary and can be worked around course schedules.

Wage: Paid, competitive
