Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages and goods to post offices. Very minimal physical labor, mostly driving.

Duties

• Operate a box truck, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and unload packages and goods safely and efficiently.
• Drive a commercial vehicle on a pre-determined route to deliver packages and goods to post offices.
• Use a manual transmission to navigate through heavy traffic and construction zones.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow courier and delivery driver routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Lift heavy packages and goods, up to 50 pounds, using a pallet jack or other equipment.
• Manage and maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to resolve any issues that may arise during delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier driver.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages and goods.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Load and unload packages and goods safely and efficiently.
• Experience with commercial driving and route driving.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier driver.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages and goods.
• Experience with manual transmission driving.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A clean driving record and a valid Drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $200.00 per day
