Summary:
SAP Trainer will design, develop, and deliver effective SAP training programs to end-users, super users, and support staff across the organization. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP modules (such as FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.) and a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and hands-on training delivery.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and deliver SAP training programs tailored to various user groups and business needs.
- Conduct training sessions (classroom, virtual, or blended) for end-users, key users, and administrators.
- Create training materials such as user manuals, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and job aids.
- Collaborate with business process owners and SAP functional consultants to understand system changes and translate them into training needs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance assessments.
- Support SAP go-live and post-go-live activities through floor support and one-on-one coaching.
- Maintain and update training documentation in line with SAP system updates and business process changes.
- Provide ongoing support and refresher training as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 8 years of experience as an SAP Trainer or in a similar training role.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one SAP module (e.g., SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, SuccessFactors).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with instructional design tools and e-learning platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Skills Required:
- SAP certification in relevant modules.
- Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
- Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Essential Mental and Physical Functions:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to process, analyze, problem solve, plan and manage projects and deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Visual, auditory, and computer usage skills.
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Travel may be required.
