Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, equipment, and work areas to support efficient and hygienic food service operations during audit-related events. This role is essential to the smooth flow of hospitality functions within both stationary and mobile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment using manual or mechanical methods
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station, kitchen floors, trash areas, and food prep surfaces
  • Assist in organizing and restocking clean items to appropriate locations for kitchen and service staff use
  • Monitor dishwasher equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
  • Support kitchen team with additional cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of dishwashing or kitchen stations for mobile or temporary event operations
  • Ensure a safe and orderly work environment, especially during high-volume service periods

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred, but not required
