Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend work based on project requirements

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Hydrovac Operator to join our Valued Clients team in Spruce Grove, Alberta. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to operational excellence, safety, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:

Operate hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently for excavation and daylighting activities

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of hydrovac units

Accurately expose underground utilities while minimizing risk and damage
-
Adhere to all safety regulations, site-specific procedures, and company policies
Qualifications:
-
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with a clean abstract
-
Minimum 1–2 years of hydrovac or vacuum truck operating experience
-
Strong understanding of ground disturbance and utility locating procedures
-
Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Preferred Qualifications:
-
CSTS, H2S Alive, and First Aid certifications
-
Experience working in municipal, industrial, or oil and gas environments
Work Environment:

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
-
Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and working around heavy equipment

Active construction and industrial sites with strict safety requirements
