About
You will lead the transition from traditional NLP to advanced Generative AI, building production-ready systems that handle massive volumes of unstructured regulatory data.
The Role As the technical authority for AI, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features. You will work closely with Engineering and Product leads to move beyond R&D, shipping scalable LLM-based solutions that solve high-stakes compliance and data-reasoning challenges.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture: Architect advanced RAG and Graph-based retrieval systems to enable precise "multi-hop" reasoning across complex regulatory frameworks.
LLM Orchestration: Design and deploy production systems using Claude, Amazon Bedrock, or GPT-4, focusing on high-fidelity information extraction and summarization.
Production MLOps: Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks for model accuracy, hallucination detection, and risk scoring—essential for a regulated SaaS environment.
Technical Strategy: Drive the AI roadmap, selecting the right tools and frameworks (Vector DBs, Agentic workflows) to maintain a competitive edge in RegTech.
Technical Requirements
Applied AI Experience: Extensive background in deploying Generative AI and LLMs within a live SaaS product environment.
Core Stack: Expert-level Python and experience working within AWS serverless architectures; familiarity with TypeScript or Java is a plus.
Complex Data: Proven track record in Information Retrieval, using Vector Databases (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch) and Knowledge Graphs to manage unstructured data.
RegTech/FinTech Background: Experience navigating the accuracy and security requirements of highly regulated industries.
Seniority: 8+ years in Data Science with significant experience in a technical leadership or principal-level role.
