Become a Border Protection Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Border Protection Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel. Your duties will include conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods, and detecting smuggling activities.

• A bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience in law enforcement or related field is required.


• You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

1. An annual base salary ranging from $40k - $110k depending on your level (GS-5/GS-7).
2. Overtime pay up to an additional $45k per year after completion training program at FLETC

Locality pay varies by duty location!
