Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios Bethesda Game Studios is looking for an experienced Development QA Manager to join our team that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles. The Development QA Manager will work across multiple projects with internal and external QA Technicians to ensure and maintain a stringent level of quality across all of our games beginning early in the development cycle, continuing into long running live operations. As
Development QA Manager , you will… Work with Production and other departments to ensure all projects are shipped on time with maximum quality and minimal defects. Provide clear direction for multiple test teams, both internal and external to deliver a clear and consistent vision for functionality, internal and platform holder standards, compatibility and QA localization. Use bug tracking tools to analyze and understand key metrics to inform stakeholders and facilitate decision making at all levels. Define best practices for testing, testing processes and testing tools to ensure our teams are working as efficiently and effectively as possible. Qualifications
What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L. You have at least 6 years of experience in test roles. You bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role and have shipped at least one title from start to finish while working alongside development teams. You demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. You are comfortable managing multiple onsite and external test teams. You have a proven track record of hiring, training, and mentoring senior team members to build a strong, high‑performing team around you. You have experience using test automation systems—whether off‑the‑shelf or custom—and have contributed to defining their usage and driving adoption. You have experience with Live Operations and games‑as‑a‑service from a Quality Assurance perspective. You are passionate about Bethesda Game Studios titles. Salary Range
Development QA Manager
- The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between
$100,000 - $170,000
per year. ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
