Human Resources Manager

Community Visiting Nurse Association is a non-profit, CHAP accredited Home Health Care agency serving Middlesex, Somerset and Warren Counties. We are a Medicare Certified agency providing comprehensive quality home care and hospice services to individuals in their place of residence.

Community VNA currently seeks a full or Part time Human Resources Manager. This position requires the ability to work, establish and manage all Human Resources functions including recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefit administration and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Ability to manage effective recruitment and selection of clinical and non-clinical home care and hospice staff including creating/placing ads, screening applicants, conducting initial interviews and coordinating interviews with applicant and department managers
• Oversees onboarding activities for new hires
• Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system that drives quality performance
• Knowledge and experience in administering benefit programs, processes employee enrollment/claims including but not limited to medical, pension/life insurance, workers compensation, FMLA, State disability insurance and unemployment insurance
• Has knowledge of all current State and Federal Human Resources laws/regulations to ensure compliance
• Clearly communicates, interacts and acts as a resource within all levels of staff for any inquiries, questions, concerns regarding general Human Resource needs on a timely basis
• Compiles and maintains Human Resource Department data and statistics, communicates trends
• Completes OIG, OSHA and any other State and Federal compliance reports as required

Qualifications for this position include:

• Two years of college including Human Resources coursework; BA or BS preferred; Three years Human Resources Management experience will be considered
• Healthcare setting background preferred
