Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle various guest requests with professionalism.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Proficiency in phone systems and etiquette for effective communication.
• Experience in the hotel industry is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with guests and team members.
