Key Responsibilities of the Role: Brand Ambassador: Embody the Speakeasy spirit by warmly welcoming every guest and creating memorable branded experiences that leave them stoked on our products and culture.

Guide Exploration: Guide customers through diverse menus, offering knowledgeable recommendations based on their wants and needs. Use your education and training to help customers navigate strains, consumption methods, and responsible use.

Operational Excellence: Support and maintain a visually appealing and inviting store.

Contribute to the smooth operation of the store by assisting with inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Champion Compliance: Uphold our commitment to responsible sales practices, ensuring adherence to all regulations and prioritizing customer safety.

Be Ahead of the Curve: Stay continuously engaged in expanding your cannabis knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest product trends and innovations for our customers.

Job Requirements

Eligibility

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have the ability to travel to the assigned store with own transportation methods
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass a background check

Other Willingness Requirements

• Willing to work in an environment with bright lights and loud music
• Willing to move through a store for most of a shift to help customers and accomplish work
• Willing to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
• Willing to work as part of a team and also complete some work independently

Job Assets (i.e., nice to have; not required)

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Team Work

Customer Experience

• Keep a clean, welcoming retail environment that is inviting and warm
• Greet and assist customers proactively, being friendly, accurate, and patient
• Guide customers in choosing products that suit their needs and preferences
• Gather customer feedback and work with management to solve any issues quickly

Education

• Attend ongoing training to expand product knowledge, selling skills and updates to company policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on cannabis trends, new product offerings, and evolving customer preferences
• Educate customers on safe and enjoyable product use

Store Performance

• Understand and contribute to store goals
• Leverage customer interactions to drive sales, basket size, and other key metrics
• Accurately process transactions and record customer data in point-of-sale systems

Inventory/Operations

• Track and document all product movement correctly
• Communicate inventory discrepancies or operational issues to management promptly
• Know and follow all company policies and legal regulations
• Support in restocking the sales floor and keeping an organized and clean cash desk area

Marketing

• Embody Speakeasy's brand spirit and commitment to industry-leading cannabis products/experiences
• Champion customer loyalty initiatives to cultivate long-term relationships
• Use promotional campaigns to excite customers and boost sales

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Pay increases to 15.00 per hour after 90 days.
