We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machining Specialist to champion our Machining Center of Excellence. In this pivotal role, you will bridge design and manufacturing, driving operational efficiency and mentoring fellow machinists. Your expertise will directly impact the future of our advanced machining capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline daily machining operations, strategically allocating workloads to maximize productivity and optimize labor utilization.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and extensive experience to make well-informed decisions that enhance production quality and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Foster seamless project execution through effective collaboration and communication with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements that minimize waste, accelerate cycle times, and boost overall machining efficiency.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture by consistently adhering to company policies and actively supporting our commitment to a "zero incidents" workplace.
  • Develop CNC programs for the production of new parts, with a focus on achieving exceptional precision and intricate designs.
  • Conduct thorough first-article and in-process inspections using manual gauges, making real-time program adjustments to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor internal and external customer orders to guarantee timely delivery and alignment with overarching business goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, encompassing program development, setup, and operational expertise.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks, Mastercam, and 5-axis programming and operation.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines.
Preferred Skills
  • In-depth understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and manual inspection methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a lead machinist or team leadership capacity.
