Lifeguard – Part Time
Pay: $12–$13 per hour

The YMCA is seeking responsible, alert, and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our Aquatics team. Lifeguards play a critical role in maintaining safe swimming conditions, preventing accidents, and responding to emergencies in accordance with YMCA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.
• Enforce safety rules and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Perform routine safety checks, water tests, and equipment inspections.
• Build positive relationships with members, staff, and participants.
• Support cleanliness and upkeep of the pool and facility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 16.
• Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen.
• Ability to stay alert, respond quickly, and demonstrate lifeguard skills.
