Core Responsibilities
- Effectively manage overall project deliverables and team on small to medium sized initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful delivery. Define KPIs to measure project success and business value, reporting outcomes to leadership.
- Facilitate and deliver on initiatives using appropriate delivery methodology (agile and/or iterative waterfall).
- Gather, document, and prioritize business needs, translate stakeholder input into actionable requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, and issues and clear escalation path for program committees.
- Identify and engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and facilitate communication across teams, providing regular updates (e.g., IT, finance, operations).
- Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Lead cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, removing any impediments that hinder progress, while promoting collaboration among cross-functional team members.
- Apply change and risk management principles, completing required documentation (change requests, risk logs, etc.) and the identification of contingency plans, ensuring the team can adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Act as a liaison to ensure technical solutions meet business needs while managing project constraints and oversee the translation of business requirements into project deliverables.
Requirements Required Skills
Technical: Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, SQL, or BPMN.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability.
Methodologies: Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
