Job Description
The NPI Supplier Ops program manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Embed in the Engineering NPI teams to understand NPI project scope, supply base, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering NPI Program Manager to develop project schedules factoring in time for design, quoting, supplier manufacturing, build events, and all required resources as part of the overall process.
- Act as liaison between Engineering and the Supply Management team (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement) to drive supplier activities, including quoting, placing POs, revising POs, and tracking deliverables.
- Contribute to transition and production-level ramp-up.
- Create product-specific cost models with input from the Supply Management team (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement).
