ABA - Recruiter

Job Title: Recruiter (ABA Experience Required)

Compensation: $20–$26 per hour, based on experience

Employment Type: Part-Time with potential to move into Full-Time

Location: Remote (California residents only)

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM OR 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This schedule is required due to candidate availability in the afternoons and evenings.

About Behavia Therapy
Behavia Therapy is a rapidly growing ABA therapy provider serving children and families across California. As we continue expanding, we are seeking a recruiter who brings experience, professionalism, and strong organizational skills to support high-volume hiring efforts.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Recruiter with prior ABA recruiting experience, or a former BT/RBT who also has professional recruiting experience. This role is not entry-level.

You will handle full-cycle recruiting including:

• Creating job postings
• Sourcing candidates
• Conducting screening calls
• Scheduling interviews
• Maintaining detailed notes
• Occasionally conducting interviews using provided scripts

Weekly hours will vary from:

• 15–20 hours during slower hiring periods
• 30–40 hours during busy hiring cycles

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and update job postings across Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, and other sourcing platforms
• Proactively source candidates through resume searches, outreach, and recruitment tools
• Conduct initial screening calls and gather required applicant information
• Maintain detailed and organized notes, status updates, and communication logs
• Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps with internal hiring managers
• Conduct interviews when needed using provided scripts and guidelines
• Manage candidates through the full recruitment pipeline until offer handoff
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with California hiring and privacy laws

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional recruiting experience
• ABA recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Or prior BT/RBT experience combined with recruiting experience
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional note-taking
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pipelines
• Must reside in California and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to consistently work Monday–Friday, 12 PM – 8 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using ATS systems or online recruitment tools
• Experience conducting interviews independently
• Familiarity with ABA roles, terminology, and workflows

• Do you have at least two years of professional recruiting experience?
• Do you have recruitment experience specifically within an ABA company (Behavior Technicians, RBTs, Program Supervisors, BCBAs)?
• Are you able to consistently work Monday–Friday in Pacific Standard Time during either 11am–7pm or 12pm–8pm?
• Do you have strong communication skills and professional presentation experience from previous recruiting or client-facing roles?
