Service Writer

South Lake RV & Marine is a family owned and operated diverse organization dedicated to creating a very positive full-service experience with our customers. Growth is a critical part of our company and we are seeking an RV & Marine Service Writer to help us with that growth. Experience with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, scheduling and customer service would be beneficial. Applicants must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment while keeping customer satisfaction their main goal.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with RV and marine service needs
• Create accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician workflow
• Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and updates to customers
• Recommend maintenance and repair services as appropriate
• Work closely with service technicians and parts department
• Process billing, warranty claims, and service invoices
• Collect payments
• Maintain organized service records and a professional front counter
• Handle part inquiries as needed

Qualifications

• Previous service writer, service advisor, or dealership experience preferred
• RV & Marine experience a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
• Computer proficiency (service software, scheduling, email)
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic

Some Saturday's required - on rotation.
Wages are based on experience.
