Position Description:

Provides assistance for the Workforce Development Department. This assistance is for such activities as strategic planning, program development, correspondence and data reporting along with other supportive duties. This position provides support for the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training Program to assist students, maintain student records, documentation, recordkeeping and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial contact for the office, handling intake and output of messages, scheduling of appointments for the Workforce Development Department, ACC Student Counseling Services, and WCCT.

  • Handle correspondence and communication without assistance.

  • Use computer for various applications, such as database management or word processing.

  • Process requisitions and keep records of office supplies. Assists with other related office duties, such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.

  • Compose, prepare and disseminate written correspondence and resource materials; develop and produce forms and technical support publications as required.

  • Attend meetings/trainings/events, collect information, and distribute documents as needed.

  • Ensure accurate tracking and data collection for projects, and assisting with budgeting, procurement, financial reconciliation and reporting.

  • Assist with marketing, brochure development, and graphic design functions.
