Compensation:
Base salary + $750/month car allowance

Territory: Maryland to Maine. Must be based in Baltimore MD area
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Associate plays a key role in growing revenue and strengthening customer relationships within an assigned territory. This position focuses on promoting medical products to healthcare professionals—including physicians, surgeons, and clinical staff—while delivering outstanding service, education, and support. The role requires a blend of strategic sales planning, territory management, and hands-on field activity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet and exceed company goals
- Prospect and secure new business across hospitals, clinics, and private practices
- Deliver product demonstrations and educational presentations to clinical teams
- Support contract discussions and assist in closing deals with healthcare organizations
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Provide ongoing training to customers on product features, benefits, and best practices
- Respond promptly to customer questions, feedback, and service needs
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry changes
- Track and analyze sales performance, offering insights to optimize strategy
- Submit timely reports, forecasts, and territory updates to leadership
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and agreements
- Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers during field activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- Prior outside sales experience preferred
- Must have Operating Room Experience
- Background in medical device sales strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals and increasing market presence
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities
Education
- Associate degree and relevant sales experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a robust field schedule
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of healthcare environments and medical terminology
- Valid driver's license and comfort with regular travel
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours when necessary
TRAVEL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Travel
- Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory to visit healthcare facilities
Work Conditions / Physical Expectations
- Regular onsite visits at hospitals, clinics, and medical offices
- Must be able to transport and deliver product samples and medium-sized boxes as part of daily activity
