Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bartender to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft delicious drinks, provide exceptional customer service, and create a lively atmosphere that embodies the fun and spirited spirit of Hook & Reel. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest has a memorable experience while keeping the bar running smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a lively, friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal requirements
• Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients are available for service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a nightclub, restaurant, or fine dining setting
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving at banquets or catering events is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and create a lively atmosphere
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
