Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of property management, ensuring that our community remains a desirable place to live. This role requires a proactive approach to resident relations, property maintenance, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring high standards of property management and resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including marketing strategies to attract new tenants and conducting property tours.
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 requirements.
  • Utilize property management software such as ResMan for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Handle conflict management and resident complaints effectively, fostering a positive community atmosphere.
  • Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution through facilities management practices.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, enhancing their living experience through effective communication and support.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including office experience duties, data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and upselling strategies to enhance leasing opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on contract management.
  • Proficient in customer service practices with outstanding phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to resolve issues amicably.
