Job Summary And Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides assessment, teaching and follow-up instruction to a specific patient population and Provides guidance to

management, staff and physicians

• Identifies needs, plans and implements educational programs within specialty areas for staff, patients,

and/or community. Actively Participates in Nursing and Patient Education Department activities

• Serves in a consultative role to staff, management and health professionals in the hospital and community with

focus on quality and cost containment

• Disseminates and conducts nursing research
• Serves as leader in the development and attainment of organizational goals
• Demonstrates professional practice by serving as a liaison among the program staff, advisory

committee and facility administration

• Defines, refines, re-focuses role in relation to nursing and organizational needs
• Role models positive guest relations and collaborative practice
• Is self-directed in fostering personal expertise and future professional development

Job Requirements

• Education: Associates Degree, Nursing
• Experience: One year's nursing experience
• Registered Nurse; BLS
