Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the student enrollment process, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting prospective students through their application journey. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to promote our institution's programs and values.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Conduct campus tours and informational sessions to engage potential applicants
  • Manage the application process using Ellucian or similar student information systems
  • Assist with recruiting efforts by developing outreach strategies and participating in recruitment events
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and administrative teams to ensure a seamless admissions experience
  • Maintain accurate records of applicant interactions and status updates within the admissions database
  • Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing enrollment and brand awareness
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life to diverse audiences

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in public speaking and presenting to groups of varying sizes
  • Familiarity with Ellucian or other student information systems is preferred
  • Prior experience in recruiting or student admissions is highly desirable
  • Background in teaching or educational settings is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for education and helping prospective students achieve their academic goals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $ $28.20 per hour
