UPMC Corporate Marketing is hiring a Senior Manager, Creative Services to join our team The Senior Manager collaborates within a creative team of art directors, writers, designers, video production specialists, and freelance talent to develop and implement creative concepts for external advertising and communication, as well as some internal communication. Should foster collaboration among team members and help further develop existing talent. Maintain and build upon existing brand integrity by adhering to tone, messaging, look, and feel.

Responsibilities:
- In response to requests from Creative Directors, Marketing Directors, and other internal clients, develop and implement concepts to achieve the stated goals of creative briefs, with a focus on generating demand and inquiries.
- Support the creative team in idea-generation, art direction, messaging, storytelling, persuasive writing, and brand-appropriate tone, look, and feel.
- Develop strategic solutions to marketing challenges for the brand.
- Create own designs while collaborating across the creative team on multiple projects.
- Collaborate with various outside agencies, sharing ideas and materials, to create cohesive, multi-channel campaigns that promote the company's brands.
- Contribute to the quality of all work performed by internal and external teams.
- Support the look, feel, and tone of campaigns, including but not limited to websites, interactive presentations, and microsites, to align with the UPMC Brand.
- Must adhere to regulatory requirements at all times.
- Expected to produce high-quality work, meet deadlines, and work within budgetary guidelines.
- Seven to ten years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, preferably in a design/art direction capacity, with limited management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or ten to thirteen years equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to support and motivate the creative team.
- Maintain a positive attitude, foster collaboration, provide constructive criticism, and help others develop their skills.
- Have an understanding and appreciation of the work involved in creating strategic, conceptual solutions to marketing challenges, and be able to generate fresh ideas to solve marketing challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, react quickly and effectively to urgent needs, and collaborate with limited supervision.
- Ability to tailor messaging to specific, targeted audiences.
- Experienced in print, radio, video, motion graphics, digital media, collateral, and television development and production.
- Must possess and demonstrate a strong visual aesthetic and design capability. Must be a creative and strategic thinker.
- Must be able to take in client feedback and adjust course as necessary while maintaining brand standards, achieving a balance of aesthetics, and providing effective solutions.
- Must be able to communicate ideas effectively.
- Ability to understand research and utilize its findings to develop a strategy.
- Proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite software.
