We are seeking highly motivated Installation Project Manager for hands-on hybrid roles that combine installation and project management responsibilities. This position requires physical installation work, as well as effective project coordination. The ideal candidates will be customer-facing individuals who prepare sites prior to project kick-off, ensuring all necessary installations are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Responsibilities:
Perform onsite installation of DAS systems, head ends, and related equipment for public safety and data center projects. - Support construction workflow by collaborating with project teams and ensuring all preparation work is completed before project commencement.
- Execute field operations and light project coordination, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct PIM (Passive Intermodulation) testing to ensure system integrity and performance standards are met.
- Ensure that all partners have the necessary resources and information before they arrive onsite.
- Prepare and set up head ends, backup systems, and wiring in data center environments.
- Provide training and guidance to commissioning technicians on installation processes and best practices.
- Assist in the transition from installation to commissioning, with opportunities for career advancement into project management roles.
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify that systems are functioning correctly and meet project specifications.
Ensure all installations adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in installation, preferably within the DAS, telecommunications, or data center sectors.- Strong technical skills and the ability to perform hands-on installation work.
- Excellent customer service skills; must be comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with PIM testing and other relevant technical procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company, with opportunities for certification and salary advancement.
- Compensation & Benefits:
$60,000-80,000 Depending on experience + benefits
