About
About Us: We're an established and rapidly growing painting company delivering high-quality, concierge-level services for residential and commercial clients—both interior and exterior. We're building something special here, and we need the right people to grow with us.
The Role: You wear many hats as the project manager. You turn the customer's vision into reality with superb listening skills, attention to detail, and exceptional ability to communicate with both customers and crew. You are the essential connection between sales, customers, and laborers. Once a job is sold, you take the reins and oversee the project through to completion. You'll keep an eye on projects via site visits, crew oversight, internal communication, and keeping the customer updated on progress—making it all look easy to the outside eye as you manage the unplanned variables that are inevitable in the service industry. You'll manage 5-10 painting teams (2-4 laborers each) across a large service area, ensuring every project runs smoothly, stays profitable, and exceeds not only quality standards but the customer's expectations
What You'll Do:
- Serve as primary contact for customers, crews, and sales team once projects are underway
- Schedule jobs and assign crews based on project needs and workflow
- Order materials and coordinate logistics across multiple active jobsites
- Travel daily to jobsites throughout the Puget Sound area, including Kitsap, Thurston, Pierce, King, Snohomish, and Whatcom Counties
- Identify and resolve urgent issues as they arise—damaged walls, scope changes, unforeseen challenges
- Recommend solutions and upsell additional services when customers request changes or repairs are needed
- Track job costing and profitability to keep projects on budget
- Handle administrative tasks including CRM updates and accurate documentation
- Adapt to seasonal workflow (slower winters, high-volume spring/summer)
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in project management (home improvement, construction, or service industry)
- Sharp attention to detail and strong quality control instincts
- Excellent communicator who can manage relationships with clients, crews, and sales
- Problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and handles multiple priorities
- Self-starter who is self-motivated and doesn't need to be micromanaged
- Ready to learn and grow—as our business scales, so will this position
- Eager to help develop and shape the role as the company expands
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record—you'll be on the road daily
- Comfortable with significant local travel across a large territory
- Growth-minded team player invested in collaborative success
