Oven Operator – Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Oven Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating thermoforming ovens and related equipment to mold plastic components for signage. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

• Operate PVI thermoforming ovens, trimming machinery, and support equipment
• Form plastic backs and faces according to artwork and specifications
• Set oven temperatures based on material requirements
• Inspect molds and plastics for cleanliness and accuracy
• Perform job setups and basic machine maintenance
• Safely operate tools such as jig saws, sanders, band saws, skill saws, forklifts, and overhead cranes
• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, ruler, square)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (team lifting up to 100 lbs)
• Comfortable working in warm environments (90°F+ in summer)
• Forklift certification preferred
• Prior thermoforming experience is a plus

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
