Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, pulled, and prepared for pick up in a timely manner. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Communicate with vendors over pricing, availability, and shipping
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently
  • Perform heavy lifting as required to move products throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock
  • Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing items for pickup.
  • Provide necessary monthly reports
  • Continual Data Entry into PC
  • Responsible for deliveries to Pikeville complex
  • Responsible for deliveries to Aviagen South farms

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and materials handling processes is advantageous
  • Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is a plus
  • Experience with heavy lifting and safe handling of materials is essential
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is beneficial
  • Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor is an asset but not required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Health and Safety rules and regulations must be followed, and an understanding of SDS sheets is important
  • Ability to read labels on chemicals used for proper applications and environmental regulations
  • Must be trustworthy, honest, and loyal
  • Valid driver's license
  • MVR/Driving Record clear and in good standing
