About the Role
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you’ll be a vital part of both patient care and hospital operations. You’ll work side-by-side with veterinarians and teammates in a fast-paced, well-supported environment where your skills truly matter.
You’ll be hands-on across:
* Patient care and client support
* Exam rooms and treatment areas
* Surgery assistance and anesthesia monitoring
* Diagnostics and in-house laboratory work
* Pharmacy and medical support
Every day, you’ll help deliver high-quality medicine while contributing to a culture built on teamwork, professionalism, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional nursing and patient care
* Assist in examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
* Administer medications and vaccinations; monitor anesthesia
* Perform blood draws, radiographs (X-rays), and in-house lab testing
* Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories
* Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and post-care instructions
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and hospital safety protocols
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
What We’re Looking For
* Active *New York State Veterinary Technician License* (required)
* Strong technical and clinical skills
* Knowledge of veterinary pharmaceuticals and treatments
* Compassionate, dependable, team-first attitude
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently
* Comfort with veterinary software and computer systems (preferred)
Compensation & BenefitsCompensation
* *$25.00 – $28.00 per hour*, based on experience
