About the Role
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for leading
front-of-house operations at the Conuma Grill, ensuring smooth daily service,
strong team performance, and a high-quality guest experience. Reporting to the Hospitality and Services Manager, the role oversees staff scheduling, training, service
execution, and compliance with safety and service standards. This position
plays a key role in delivering a memorable, upscale dining experience while
maintaining operational efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
·
Lead and manage daily front-of-house
restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
·
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and
mentor restaurant staff to build a capable, service-focused team.
·
Schedule employees based on coverage
needs and business demand to maintain service continuity.
·
Supervise staff performance, assign
duties, and address conduct or performance issues as required.
·
Champion and deliver flawless, upscale
guest service, resolving guest concerns professionally and promptly.
·
Maintain restaurant, bar, storage, and
patio cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
·
Oversee accurate POS use, billing, cash
handling, and timely payroll submission.
·
Coordinate inventory management and
purchasing of departmental supplies.
·
Enforce compliance with company policies,
food safety, alcohol service, and health & safety regulations.
·
Coordinate seasonal opening and closing
procedures and support ongoing operational improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
·
Legally entitled to work in Canada
·
High school diploma or equivalent
·
Serving it Right certification
·
Minimum of 2 years restaurant service experience
·
Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft
Word, Outlook, and Excel
·
WHMIS
Certification
Preferred:
·
Food Safe Level 1
