Our client, a successful financial technology and services company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated strategic leader for a Project Manager position in their central NJ office. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects remain on-schedule and that all relevant stakeholders are kept apprised of the overall goals and the achievement of key milestones through each project's lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio & Program Management

  • Oversee project management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Monitor and report on project and program performance, using KPIs and dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure successful delivery of programs and projects on time, within scope and budget.

Governance & Compliance

  • Enforce consistent project management processes and documentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate regular portfolio reviews.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and strategic initiatives within projects.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the client, company and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate project goals, expectations, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level project portfolios and complex programs.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools, software (e.g., MS Project, Excel), and project methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • The ability to make decisions in uncertain environments
  • Expertise in change and risk management
  • An analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • The ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000
