Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Clover, process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties while maintaining food safety standards
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing food service responsibilities
• Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for sales and inventory, and retail math for stock management

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience preferred; a passion for coffee culture is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
