Job Description:
Solo CDL-A FedEx runs - Home Daily Truck Driver
Gaithersburg, MD and Baltimore, MD areas

• Solo Run: $250 – $350 Per Day
• $1,500 average weekly gross
• Home Every Day
• Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight
• 12 months of CDL-A experience required

Must live within 25 miles of Gaithersburg, MD or Baltimore, MD

We are hiring CDL Class A Truck Driver - Assigned Solo Night Runs for a FedEx contractor 11V Logistics. You must have experience operating a tractor-trailer on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year or more of CDL-A tractor trailer experience in last 3 years required
• Doubles endorsement or ability to obtain required
• Must be registered for the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• No Touch freight – Drop and Hook
• Flexibility - overtime as required, occasional weekends and holiday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable)
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
