In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive exactly what they ordered, in perfect condition. You will work with advanced systems, including RF scanners, to track inventory and process orders. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all employees are expected to strictly follow safety guidelines, utilize necessary PPE, and adhere to proper lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Pick items from warehouse locations accurately according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Pack orders efficiently and neatly, meeting quality standards.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Follow all lifting and ergonomic guidelines.
- Support the overall logistics team objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, potentially including overtime.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
