Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the efficient movement of products. This position requires a focus on safety, proper lifting techniques, and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log all incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock inventory in assigned locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items based on order fulfillment requests.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all warehouse areas.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Practice safe lifting techniques and follow ergonomic guidelines.
- Support overall logistics efficiency through proactive task completion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.
