Join our dynamic warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Material Handler! This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment, playing a key part in our overall logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Stock inventory accurately onto shelves and designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders according to pick lists and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktakes.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Basic math and reading skills.
